Paul Wezenberg (NL,1952) is trained at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He worked long as an interior architect, both in design and execution. In addition, he has advised in many designer furniture and home accessories by designers from the United States, Italy and Scandinavia. From the late 90s, he is also started collecting Dutch art. His training, his experience in the design world and the numerous works of art that passed through his hands inspired him to start to make artworks again ten years ago. Especially geometric reliefs. Collages and assemblages of basic forms to complete works of cardboard, paper and MDF. Often staggered white areas that with light, but also colourful works.

Breaking the two and three dimensional fields of traditional art into the fourth dimension is a primary drive in the creative process of Alexander Zaklynsky (USA, 1978). Infusing these fields with aesthetic resonance is the goal. Expression, abstraction, representation and spatialism converge in his work through meditative explorations of perspective, color and structure. He aims to build physical and visual stimuli into multi sensory experiences that lead the viewer to a state of reflection and pause.  His work navigates the contemporary landscape establishing platforms from which to gain new perspectives

In his paintings he works with collaging photographic and designed elements, layering combinations of color, patterns and stenciled imagery. He works with a broad range of media and techniques, using  his paintings as stepping stones into atmospheric sculptures and audio/visual installations.  He incorporates various themes in his work, from ancient mythologies, his own heritage (Iceland), new media and societal trends to investigations of art and its presentation in contemporary culture. He develops his art through a studio practice of collaboration, research, exploration and experimentation. In exploring the creative process he searches for ways to achieve an aesthetic balance with conceptual and visual clarity.
